Accreditation & Licensing
Our services are intended to meet the needs of young children between three months and five years of age. Our organization seeks national accreditation for all of its centers. In 1986, Rainbow School Kahuku became the first center in the State of Hawaii to be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our schools seek national accreditation through either the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) or the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA). Our Kahuku location was re-accredited June 2016, Honolulu was re-accredited May 2013, and our Wahiawa location was accredited November 2013. In 2014, our Mililani location received it’s re-accreditation in January and our Kaneohe location received it’s re-accreditation in June.
All of our centers are licensed by the State of Hawaii Department of Human Services Child Care Units I and II.
